Cancellation Policy
The clinic wants our clients to know how much we value your business. In an effort to provide the highest quality care for those in need, we require 1 full business day notice for any schedule changes that you need. For example, cancellations must be made more than 24 hours in advance Tuesday-Friday, and by Thursday end of business day regarding any cancellations for the following Monday.
Our office understands that sometimes emergency situations arise and we will handle each circumstance on an individual basis. We would like our clients to understand that missed or broken appointments are hurtful in many ways. First, they delay your treatment and our ability to keep your health at optimum levels. Second, they may prevent another client who needs treatment, from getting necessary care in a timely manner. Lastly, the acupuncturist has reserved 1.5 or more hours of their time specifically for your care. With this in mind, we want you to be informed of our appointment policy so there are no misunderstandings.
Each patient may miss one appointment due to emergency without a full business day notice within a 12 month period. After a second broken appointment occurs, we will not pre-appoint you for any future appointments unless it is reserved with a check for the full treatment amount. A third missed appointment will result in dismissal from our practice. We will be happy to refer you and forward your records to an acupuncturist whose hours fit your schedule.
